The building work was completed to the highest standard within the agreed timescale and within budget. DT Contracting provided the necessary specialist builders, electricians, plumbers and roofers to undertake the essential work and supervised each one to make sure their work was up to DT Contracting’s standards. When problems arose (as they do when building) we were consulted and every issue was resolved to our complete satisfaction. Upon completion there were a couple of snagging items which were immediately rectified.
We have had many visitors to our home since the building work was finished and everyone has commented on how good our home looks. It appears as if an extension has been built, but all the work was within the original footprint of our home.

The combination of his reasonable and realistic quote and the complete confidence that we felt in him from seeing the way that he works made for an obvious decision to engage him for the repair. His expert and pragmatic advice was invaluable. When work started, as he progressed the job he discovered that some of the surveyors original requirements were not actually necessary and he took it upon himself to consult with the surveyor to agree what work was not actually needed.
The result was that he completed the job in one day and avoided a significant amount of unnecessary disruption. In addition he left saying that he would be amending his quote to take account of the reduced specification. His pragmatism on our behalf, his honesty and trustworthiness has saved us a significant amount of money compared to some of the quotes that we had received for the job.
We were so pleased the company that we have since used them to replace all our external doors and windows and we are planning more work.

Having purchased a house that was in need of some TLC, I asked DT Contracting to install a new kitchen and an en-suite bathroom.
The kitchen project involved knocking two rooms into one and putting an RSJ in the ceiling. I wanted a kitchen with character, so in addition to the installation of the units, Dave custom-made a decorative chimney breast to go over my cooker and a lovely window seat for the bay window. The end result is stunning and I'm blown away by how good it all looks. The en-suite bathroom was completed at the same time, again to a very high standard.
